The Basics:
WE BEAT THE THUNDER LAST NIGHT! Okay, and this is our last game before the All-Star Break. We're still without Mo Williams, Gordon Hayward, and Raja Bell. Minny is without Kevin Love, Brandon Roy, Chase Budinger, Malcolm Lee, and possibly also Andrei Kirilenko (he is questionable for tonight). Minny is 12-12 at home and we're 9-18 on the road, but we have the health advantage for once. The Jazz pretty much *need* this game because the Houston Rockets are breathing down on our necks. While we fans are looking upwards at the #6 seed (only 1.5 games away), other teams are looking at our #7 seed. If we want to AVOID being the #8 seed again these are precisely the type of road games against Western Conference (and Division) foes that we need to win.
It's also Randy Foye and Al Jefferson returning to play the team that they spent so many years toiling for. Minny is 2-8 in their last 10, we're 6-4. If we win, we go into the All-Star break with 30 wins. If we lose, they get their 20th win of the season.
So, it's that simple. Just win, baby.
