Woman Robbed Of iPhone, Macbook Pro At Gunpoint At West Philadelphia SEPTA Station

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The search is on for two suspects who cornered a woman while she was at a SEPTA station in West Philadelphia, and stole her iPhone and Macbook Pro at gunpoint, according to police.

It happened on August 25th a little before 8:30 p.m. on the SEPTA platform at 63rd Avenue and Market Street.

Police say two black males approached the woman and took her iPhone from her pocket. They then displayed a handgun and demanded that the woman open her backpack and take out her Macbook, which was in a case with multicolor icons.

The suspects fled the area in an unknown direction.

Both suspects are described as black, 18 to 25 years old, about 5 feet 9 inches and weighing between 120 and 130 pounds.

One suspect was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with white on the inside, dark colored jeans and has dark colored curly short hair.

The second suspect had on dark jeans, a short sleeve gray shirt with a possible graphic on it, and a dark colored hat.

Anyone with information is asked to contact authorities.
