Canadian Natural Mama ~ Product Reviews: Second denim CO ...

I may have found my new best friend... wardrobe wise... YOGA JEANS.

Yes, that's right.

This Canadian company based out of Montreal, Quebec deserves numerous high fives that's for sure.

Ultra comfy, like your favorite pair of yoga pants, but with the look and feel of your favorite pair of fancy jeans.

Can you hear the clouds parting and the angels singing??

Women everywhere have been dreaming of this day since, well,? forever.

And when I say women, I mostly mean mothers.

Moms, as well as gym rats, are known to have a wardrobe consisting mainly of yoga pants and t-shirts.

Whereas the gym rats may want to keep their uniforms, I think that the mothers of the world would gladly trade in their ratty old yoga pants for a pair of jeans like these!!

?If you are a mother, and/or childcare provide like I am, you know that our job consists of a lot of ups, and downs, bending, squatting, lifting, sitting, standing, laying... and, well, pretty much every other movement you can think of.

These jeans can get you through ALL of that COMFORTABLY and still look hot.

Can your yoga pants do the same?

I know that at the end of the day I often look and feel utterly exhausted.

My braid or pony tail is falling out, my shirt is stained with milk, and my pants are saggy and baggy.

At least in jeans you feel a little more "with it", so you can look and feel like your "old" self, even when you are exhausted and not feeling entirely put together.

While these jeans do feel like a second skin, they differ from leggings or tights in that they are more substantial.

Like regular jeans, they hug your curves showing off your shape, while hiding everything that you want to keep covered up.

Though I do not think I, personally,? would do actual YOGA in these jeans... comfort wise, it definitely is possible.

I dare YOU to try it.

(Make sure to send in photos if you do.)

?I would LOVE to see what you can do in YOUR yoga jeans.

Kid wrangling, hiking, globe trotting... what will you do?

One size length, Second denim Co. jeans never seem too long.

The jeans can easily be cuffed, tucked into boots, or just left alone to rouche at the ankle.

There is just something about a great pair of jeans that makes you feel confident.

The best thing about jeans is that they can be dressed up or down depending on the accessories you add.

You know what they say...a great fitting pair of jeans and a white t-shirt will never go out of style.

The jeans pictured above, mid-skinny in dark rinse indigo, are the jeans that the lovely people at Second denim Co. sent me to try.

THANK-YOU!!!

I.

Love.

YOGA JEANS.

Pre-baby #3, I lived in my skinny jeans.

I never thought that I would be able to pull them off again.

Until now.

In my head I see myself happily wearing them whilst doing cartwheels into the sunset, while my children laugh and frolic through the green grass alongside me.

Whilst that picture sort of came true... it was more like me wearing my "cool, hip yoga jeans" jeans, while chasing my son as he rolled down a grass hill, as the toddler falls trying to catch him, as I am behind them all trying to run/walk as best as I can without waking the sleeping baby in the carrier.

Sigh.

Let's just go with the first scenario.

Also... do you know how hard it is trying to take a PHOTO of that second scenario?

I need a personal assistant.

Haha.

True story though, as I was writing this review I came across a post from a friend in a local babywearing community. She was looking for a straight legged jean that was like a cross between jegging, and a structured pant without being a skinny jean. She thought that her choices were either to go back to maternity jeans, or live in her exercise pants... forever.

?A few other friends commented that, they too, were looking for the "perfect" postpartum jeans.

Many had just given up, and were thinking of resorting to maternity jeans again just for the stretch and comfort.

?I told her (and the others) about Yoga Jeans and they were excited.

Most of them said they were willing to pay a little more for a quality, comfortable jean if it meant that they could actually get out of regular yoga pants every now and again and feel GOOD about themselves while wearing them.?

They were apprehensive about buying jeans online.

As most of you know, the female body is a complex thing, and choosing jeans is one of those scary things that "you just do not do".

These jeans, however, do fit pretty true to size.

Try on a few different sizes and styles to find the perfect fit for YOU!

Though Second denim Co. does not necessarily SPECIALIZE in jeans for mothers, really, they are the perfect solution.

They are stylish, well made, built like a second skin, but best of all COMFORTABLE and actually have the ability to MOVE with you.

Definitely the opposite of any "mom-jeans" I have ever seen.

Fashionable, flattering jeans that don't pinch, bunch, stretch out OR? lose shape.

Win.

Win.

And... WIN!

To be honest, I don't know if I will ever be able to go back to "regular" jeans again.

I may just have to slowly switch over my entire jean wardrobe little by little to the fabulous Yoga Jeans.

Classic skinnies?

Bootcuts?

Colored denim for Spring?

?HOORAY!!!
